Alfred's Firearm & Outdoor Education

PAL stands for Possession Acquisition License. This course, once successfully completed will allow you to apply for a Firearms License. In order to successfully complete the course, students must score at least 80% on both the written and practical exams. The course involves about 10 hours of instruction, including practical gun handling. The course fee of $175 includes the two course exams. We will be using the PAL manual so you must either down load it onto a tablet or laptop and bring it with you or purchase the paper manual for an additional $25.

The practical test takes 20 minutes and will be scheduled Saturday evening after the course.

Payment secures a spot in the course. If you need to cancel or change to a different date, please give at least 2 days notice. Cancelation within 24 hours of the course will not be refunded.
