This course, once completed, will allow you to apply for a Restricted Firearms License. In order to participate you must have successfully completed the PAL course. To complete the Restricted course, students must score at least 80% on both the written and practical exams. The course involves about 4-6 hours of instruction, including practical gun handling.

We will be using the PAL/Restricted manual. If you already have a course manual from a recently completed PAL course, you only need to pay the course fee of $150 or you can download it free of charge at https://publications.gc.ca/collections/collection_2015/grc-rcmp/PS99-2-2-1-2014-eng.pdf If you will be using a electronic copy please download it before coming to the course and bring it with you on a fully charged laptop or tablet. If you you would like a paper copy of the manual, then add the additional $25 fee.
